Bangladesh and South Africa
Celebrating Children will be holding several workshops in 2012. The first will be held in Bangladesh in February and June. This will be primarily with practitioners who work with children in Bangladesh and India. Materials and lectures will be translated into Bengali. This will be our first time to partner with caregivers in this region, so we are really looking forward to this time. We are hoping this will be the beginning of some great partnerships. Our second training of the year will be held for district leaders who oversee children’s programs for the Methodist Church of South Africa. A Celebrating Children workshop combined with a Facilitator’s Training will be offered in April and October. These leaders will then take Celebrating Children back to their districts and train their children’s workers. This is an exciting opportunity as we seek to multiply this curriculum further! Does this sound like something you'd be interested in getting involved in? Contact us here for more information!
